Sasori

I worked on this for two hours last night and all I had was the lineart, skin, and hair. Don't you hate it when you make some lineart and you find out that you did it in the background layer instead of the lineart layer? ...Well, imagine that, but with the left side of Sasori's hair (away from the little sproingy things). I don't like Sasori's hair anymore.

I like how the eyes came out. If you saw how I make eyes, you would think I was crazy, but they seem to come out pretty well...

I did some highlighting in this, which is unusual for me. Usually I just have a base color and shading, but now I have a base color, shading, and highlighting for the skin AND hair!!!

I'm getting better at drawing netting on GIMP. But hey, with 1,750x2,038 pixels to work with, that isn't so bad...

The ear looks really out-of-place. I like the background, though -- I did it with the "Wood of Some Sort" pattern and a dark red layer over that, which I reduced to about 30% opacity.

Whatever way you look at it, this wasn't for me -- whether it's the stupid, evil, spiky hair that took forever or the low (for the Akatsuki) neckline and excessive netting, this picture was never made for me. I remember Melah94 saying that she likes Sasori, though...
